Standing in the Fruit, Satan is a Liar

 Friday 25 April 25 Recap

We gathered, we greeted and talked about how Jesus is here with us now! Just like when He met with His disciples after His ascension.

We prayed and invited Jesus to lead our group.

First testimony. Funny, the thing we were talking about was right on point with what he wanted to share! 😉. He is rereading a book called “The Mighty Wind” about in Indonesia, a Presbyterian Church was hit with the Holy Spirit. It was a big move of God, healing, and raising the dead! Just an amazing outpouring of the Holy Spirit! It was very tense! He read from the book that basically said Jesus lives today! If we need a God, we need the one who lives today, not 2000 years ago! If we are sick, depressed, have a problem, He is the “Now God”! Amen! 🙌

Someone shared a Bill Johnson joke on healing! Lol!

Second testimony. Someone shared her experience of passing out tracks at a colonial reenactment event. Being brave and stepping out was a big move! Especially among a liberal group! She handed out a few tracks and met a Canadian dressed as a colonial minister who was also handing out tracks! On one side of his tracks was printed money (asking the actors if they had gotten paid yet) and on the other side was the gospel message. Pretty clever! The last person she encountered was very receptive and it felt as if she broke a barrier internally! Our group is so proud of her for stepping out and sharing Jesus!

Third testimony. At a Bible study, she was asked to share about her experience she had 10 years ago in Guatemala on a mission’s trip (she's leaving tomorrow on another one). On her way home, she went to a grocery store to pick up a snack for the upcoming trip. She was able to share Jesus with one of the cashiers. Normally, she’s not that bold! She feels God is preparing her for this next trip to Guatemala. Sharing the love of Jesus, she’s getting more bold! Hallelujah!

Another Testimony. Car anomalies. A rock got wedged into her windshield. Then another time a giant bumper appeared in front of her when the car in front of her drove over it, she drove over it also. Then, every day it seemed these birds are swooping down flying in front of her car. So, she has been binding and losing spirits because it felt to her like she’s under attack! However, she is standing confident in her identity and laughing at the seemingly demonic attacks! Another thing happened to her while watching Sid Roth. He presented a worship team singing an original worship song. She was suddenly able to sing along supernaturally, knowing the melody and lyrics? It felt like to her that this is how, when we get to heaven, we will be singing in one accord! She is getting a taste of that “flowing in the river”! Also, she’d been knocking over glasses more than a few times this week but laughing in the face of adversity brings strength. And declaring and decreeing the word of God has great power. You go girl! 🥳🙏

Imagine Jesus standing next to you when you are seemingly under attack. More than that because He lives inside of each believer! What can the enemy possibly do? Do you not know who you are! 🙏💪

Someone brought up an interesting fact: the original name of Africa is Alkebulan. Which means, “mother of mankind” or “Garden of Eden“. The garden of Eden is where we are in the presence of the Lord at all times! When we speak the words of the Lord, we are using this as a weapon or tool to usher in the presence of God! Bringing heaven to earth and the enemy has no power over us whatsoever!

Next Testimony. As a teacher in the classroom this week, it was as if she was at the mercy of chaos and randomness. However, remembering the goal is to remain in the Fruit of the Spirit, she was able to hold on to the “forever love” in the mess! To be in the presence of Jesus is to be in the presence of Love! Loving the under-loved! Knowing it is not her job to take control, but to trust! 🙏 Also, prayers for her daughter, who is in college and still trying to find her way. She is clean living, just having a hard time standing on her own 2 feet because of all she’s been through. 🙏

We listened to another original song called “Fruit of My Heart”.

We ended in prayer. We prayed for all those who requested to join that they would have courage to do so. We gave thanks for all the unique testimonies. It reminds us of His greater power, always! Helping us to trust in and hold onto the unseen hand. And for the courage to witness in unfriendly territory! Prayers for the healing of moms and parents’ mental issues. That they would come to know you! We prayed the Lord‘s best plans for us all! Standing in truth, even when we are under attack! To Bless the mission’s trip to Guatemala and for all the team! For a coworker’s decisions to stay or go. For an upcoming mom‘s visit to be peaceful. For the Father‘s heart and how He is teaching us to operate in his image. To be instruments of his righteousness! Blessings to mother and son Ministries! Prayed for our members that couldn’t be here. And for travel mercies for an extended two weeks because, due to many of us traveling, we won’t be gathering on Friday, 2 May. Resuming again on 9 May. Blessings to family and friends and all within our sphere of influence! Amen!

Blessings!
