Remaining in His Care
Recap Friday 21st March 25
As we gathered, we welcomed another new member.
We prayed, inviting Jesus to lead us. We reviewed our group rules which reminded me that they needed updating! lol!
Testimonies:
A testimony was given as an example of recognizing when we’ve been kicked out of operating in the fruit of his Holy Spirit. And how to take ownership of the emotion long enough to bring it to Jesus for transformation and freedom. Just when she thought she was doing good, suddenly fear and panic manifested over an issue that didn’t seem to warrant such emotion! Jesus was faithful as she pressed into finding the source and receiving His perspective. Amen!
Another testimony of after reuniting with her mom, she was able to follow the Lord’s leading, that she should stand with her. So, she called her mom back a few days later and show her what she needed to do to receive Jesus! She told her mom “there is only one way to heaven“ and her mom said “I believe this Jesus“! So, they prayed the believer’s prayer together and her mom is now saved! They departed with much love! Hallelujah!
Another testimony that she finally got the go ahead to pass out Bibles this weekend. They have the green light to evangelize! Yay! Her and her son created gift bags and are hoping to show people the fullness of freedom in Christ! The Lord will qualify us, He speaks, we are the vessels going out! Also, about Purim. That is a time of divine reversals. God is on the move. A shout out to Michael Signorelli, an Evangelic, Pastor, V1 and David Wilkerson of Times Square Church in New York. You might think everyone in New York should know about Jesus by now, but they don’t!
We talked about the difference in how warring opinions can derail us from our perfect path. We must go back and remember “what did the Lord tell me “and stand with Him in love toward others. They are only as broken as we are trying to do the best they can as they are giving us advice. Lol!
Another testimony on the climate of Brazil toward Christianity. And that many Brazilians don’t have as much confidence in the government as Americans do lol! She doesn’t feel Brazilian she feels like the Bride of Christ! lol! Amen sis!
Another testimony shared four different things: a song, “God will Make a Way”; a scripture, Isaiah 43:18-19; an event, while with his son, he observed a shoebox of silkworms. One silkworm, in particular, was crawling on a stick and could not pass through a big leaf. In despair, the silkworm rears up in a kind of wailing expression! So, our brother simply reaches down and removes the insurmountable leaf. Then the silkworm just goes on its merry way! The revelation of the Lord seemed to be saying in simple fashion, we live as in the shoebox, and God sees us and helps us on our way! And then he was reminded of the same scripture again this week lol! So that was a quadruple *co-inky-dink! Praise God!
Another testimony reinforced the one above. She was reminded as she was being prayed for some years ago that she saw, as in a picture, a lamb reaching upwards to Jesus. He was on a rock and reaching down. It was a reminder that Jesus is always wanting that intimacy with us! It was a gentle reminder that He is still with her and He hasn’t left her! So Good!
Another testimony, reminding us of the significance of Easter season. How Jesus triumphed over every attack of the devil! He became a man to show mankind how to overcome! There is in heaven, great value for the life of mankind! And because we’ve been ransomed, our value is elevated into the eternal! God believes in our value! We will hear more about this at our next gathering!
We listened to an original worship song called “We are the Bride”.
We ended in prayer:
We were given 1 Jn 2:24-25. Remaining in the Son, as we were from the beginning!
We prayed for Pastors, for passing out Bibles, for revival, for opened eyes, to have His Spirit manifest to us that His children will melt in His Love. We prayed that He would strengthen Pastors. We gave thanks for our group! We prayed that we would stay in the rhythm with Jesus and in purpose in all the different seasons! We thanked God for the gift of fellowship that we would remain in agreement with Jesus and not be lead away in our minds. That we would continue to serve each other, and we gave thanks on how amazing that the Lord is so mindful of us! Who are we that He would love and care for us this deeply and majestically?
Blessings!
Tamara
*co-inky-dink is our way of saying there are no coincidences with God! Lol!
