What is Salvation?
Friday recap 6June 25
We gathered, we greeted…
We discussed the blowback that some prophets/messengers were receiving as they were trying to operate in what they perceive as obedience, and those that feel obedient to criticize them! Help us lord!
1st Testimony: our sister debriefed us on her trip to Guatemala with Helps International. They served 125 people 3 times a day for 10 days! She shared photos and details of all they did there; surgeries (hernias, and C-sections), provisions and some of the spiritual warfare they encountered. They were primarily in Antique which is just west of Guatemala City. The photos and videos were numerous and very beautiful! An amazing ministry and Jesus was glorified! Most of those who donated their skills and time came back home with a humble heart. It’s because we have so much in this country we take for granted in just about every area of our life. And those that received from that ministry were just so open and authentic in their gratitude and love for Jesus! Thank you, Lord!
Next testimony: she had her breakthrough! The prophecy happened on schedule as foretold! While she was reading through the TPM manual, it was resonating with her. Especially the way that material speaks of what salvation truly is. It’s all about what you truly believe, at core, in your heart: which is what we feel. And it’s apart from what we think in our head. Jesus speaks to the heart in transformation! The breakthrough happened as she was listening to a song outside of her normal playlist. It was by Newsboys called “When Tears Fall“. The breakthrough needed was when she was 4 years old. Her father was correctly teaching Christianity but not practicing it. That made her believe he was going to hell, and she wanted daddy to be saved! She felt hopeless and helpless because he clearly understood it but was not doing it! So instead of trusting God, she vowed to save him for her four-year-old self! And again, at seven, she asked the Lord, “will you save my dad?” He told her he couldn’t promise her that, so again she vowed “I’ll save him myself!“ This made her feel like she had to be perfect now so he could be saved! Jesus showed her that after all these years, what she was doing wasn’t working and now, that she is older and understands more, is able to let that vow go and trust God! And then we listened to “When Tears Fall“! God is so good! Restoration indeed is in Christ! There is nothing like it!
We discussed how God uses everything in our history to bring us to transformation. It’s just that having a map expedites the process. Like in the case of the Israelites, a 14-day journey may have taken less than the 40 years if they had a “Faith Map”. It would have shown them how to get to the core belief issues much faster. It would have shown them where their faith was lacking. Only Jesus can live in the Fruit of the Spirit 100% of the time. However, if it is our goal to live that way, having a map sure is helpful!
Next testimony: this week he was reminded of the Lord‘s goodness and his provision for his children. He provided for some friends after they prayed and the way He moved management decisions in the direction of His faithfulness and goodness! He was also given a book to read, “The Healing Code”. It recommends a biblical diet, among other things and is endorsed by Jordan Rubin. It sounded interesting and maybe we’ll hear more about it next week. More Lord!
We discussed the level of intimacy the Lord desires to have with each one of his children! Can you imagine Jesus washing your feet? Or why He gave grand notoriety to the woman who washed his feet with her tears and wipe them with her hair? Does He not desire a very close relationship with all of us! Yes, Hallelujah!
Another testimony: at the beginning of life, in her mother‘s womb, she was feeling “there wasn’t enough time“. Then she was born two months early and put directly into an incubator. She then felt like she was “left for dead.“ Next, being pricked often to check oxygen levels, and with an oxygen tube through her nose and feeding tube down her throat, she felt like she was being tortured! She knows she didn’t do anything wrong and didn’t deserve this! When she prayerfully went to these memories with Jesus, she realized being left for dead and tortured wasn’t true but only felt true. This was the source of her buried negative emotions. Most of her life these feelings got triggered in many situations throughout her life’s journey keeping her from living her best self. The problem was, what she felt was very true - wasn’t true, and this kept her from living out of the fruit of the spirit for most of her life. She needed God’s perspective to transform her belief. She needed to feel His truth, and by allowing Him to share His truth with her in those wrongly perceived experiences, what used to be very true wasn’t true at all, and His perspective became true. And now it feels true!
In closing prayer, we thank God for His goodness and helping us with our deep issues. We prayed for help getting closer to Him; for those who could not make it to our gathering today; for salvation for family members; that we can plant our seeds correctly; sending holy love to all our group members. We prayed for power and motivation to run, after we have had our breakthroughs! We thanked God for transformation and blessings! We prayed for more love in our lives and for His visions. We thanked Him that He called us and is equipping us! We thanked Him for His perfection, for the testimonies and the way He is working on us today, next week and beyond! All praise, glory and honor in Jesus name! Amen!
Blessings!
