Choosing God-Reliance

We gathered, we greeted…
We prayed… Thanking God for a place we could come, rest and peel off the world and relax, while we testify of His greatness into the airways of the earth! Please come, Lord Jesus and lead our group!
First testimony - they own a property on a lake and are building on it while they live in the city. They allow neighbors limited privileges on the property, even though these neighbors are creating a lot of grief! After praying about it, the Lord told her to “Bless them”! and so she changed her heart toward them and blessed them. Now she’s feeling compassion toward them! But the bigger miracle happened as a lesson: for her to let go of “self-reliance“. They had a chicken sitting on fertile eggs and they moved her, which caused all but one chick to not make it ☹. So, she was determined to go buy more chicks even after her six-year-old daughter asked if the Lord told her to, which He did not. (out of the mouth of babes). But when she went to the store, they didn’t have the yellow chicks, so she came home with none and prayed forgiveness her self-reliance. And said “Lord, you must do a miracle and give us at least one more chick from these unhatched, lifeless, shells. And then she went up to the nest, lo and behold, she found a tiny chick alive. A miracle! Because they were all dead previously! This was impossible! She fell on her knees and cried; Lord thank you for this miracle! It turns out God was pleased at her repented heart, and even her husband went out and bought four more chicks! This only proves that God is no respect of persons – you don’t have to be perfectly holy before he can use you! He looks at the heart! Glory to God!
Next testimony - at the Honor Society Ceremony, she was able to give a message similar to what her son shared in his graduation speech last week focusing a bit on those kids who may feel “left out “! She spoke of inspiration, covertly Christian concepts, leaving a legacy by practicing kindness. This was important to share that day because she wanted to share her heart before school ended, and she missed her last class where she would have shared even more. We pray the Lord‘s healing over her tummy. Also, for her coworker who collapsed at work due to her arrhythmia! We are thankful for the prayers allowed by the school principal in that event! You just never know the hour or the day when Jesus takes us home. A reminder to live our best self while we are here. Thanks be to God she was able to come back the last day of school to show that she was OK and say goodbye! Also to continue in the “Fruit of the Spirit”, remembering others may not be as far along and to be patient and more loving toward them!
Another testimony - still reading the book “breaking intimidation“, and reviewing the Transformation Prayer Manual to prep for her “breakthrough” prophesied to happen for her here in a few weeks or so. She is happy to report she’s getting glimmers and closer to that breakthrough! She may call upon Tamara to help prayerfully walk through the TPM prayer and material. She is in the process of getting to the core belief on what is keeping her from evangelizing better! Discovering and overcoming these blocks are at hand! Very exciting! Yes, Lord we pray breakthrough in Jesus' name!
Next testimony - it was his son‘s birthday, the Big 1-0 so they planned a party. It is rainy season and very hot there in China. He and his son prayed in the morning for good weather. Even though he felt he was twisting God‘s arm, after apologizing for it, he realized this gave God the space to “show-off“! And his son was a witness to it, because he prayed too! The party was from 4 to 8pm and it began to drizzle at 3 PM. His wife was ready to make adjustments but he said, “no I prayed”. The party started with a cool wind and no rain. When it ended at 8 PM, he was so exhausted he crashed on the couch. Later, he got up to look outside where he noticed it had rained again. So, no rain during the party, and there was a cool breeze throughout! The Lord went above and beyond what they had prayed for! By providing a cool breeze, there was no threat of heat stroke for the kids! Praise God! During the party, he became a substitute group leader for the easter egg-treasure hunt. He was able to give body language clues to the kids at times so they wouldn’t become discouraged. He likened what he was doing with the kids to the way the Lord leads us and the way He helps us when we exercise our faith in trying to follow Him! The Lord won’t leave us hanging either! Thank you, Jesus for your amazing participation in our lives! this is a perfect testimony of trusting Him! We are not alone, and we can give up our self-reliance in favor of relying on Jesus!
A new member - popped in, so we did introductions and then
she shared a testimony - in her new real estate business, the Lord connected her to many high-level home buyers. Suddenly, she had a lot of personal, high-level real estate support! And she is signing her first contract on Wednesday! The big blessing is the degree of the presence of Jesus! She is constantly doing “The Happy Dance” all over her double wide in the middle of Ozarks on an acre of land. She feels like she might float out of here like Enoch! The Lord is constantly leading her by dropping ideas into her mind. Also, the Lord held her heart while her daughter went through a big demonic attack! Praise God she's okay!
We were reminded of Amy Willis’ testimony where the Lord told her He is opening the storehouse to his faithful, and giving them blessings and provision. This is the vision of camels she had. He is bringing out camels and opening up the store houses, transferring his wealth for the end time revival to the 1% He can trust with that. For them to give to ministries – it’s not for them to keep!
In closing prayer - we prayed for Christina in Alaska's victory over the demonic attack, and to lead her back to Jesus permanently! That she would never fall off the solid rock of Christ! We prayed for a man who lost his son to suicide. We thanked God for the ability to speak these testimonies of His greatness, for our breakthrough and healing in a world of suffering, that we can relate to all these in need with love, and without judgment - but compassion. We receive all His promises and the prophecies coming to fruition! To give unbelievers eyes to see that it’s His goodness! We prayed for boldness, to speak Jesus, and blessings throughout the week. We thanked God that we can feel His presence when we pray! That our witness will circle back to us to encourage us more, and for the most powerful inheritance we have in speaking His will on earth! Binding and losing His will be done! We thanked Him for the way He interacts with us, which is a treasure beyond measure! We pray for our family members, and for those that couldn’t make it today, in Jesus’ name! Amen!
