Letting Go and Letting God!
Friday 9May25 Recap
We gathered, we greeted a new member into our family! It was perfect timing due to a few other members that were out on missions and not able to join us. We had more time to get to know each other more meaningfully.
We prayed and invited Jesus to Lead us in Spirit and Truth!
First testimony- in South Florida while visiting siblings, she was on a boat and had an accident that left a hole in her forearm. Then she came home with a sore throat leading to congestion, etc.. Although the visit was wonderful otherwise, she noticed a profound difference in her connection to the presence of God during this trip. Normally able to tune into the Lord, this trip stood out because of the seemingly diminished capacity to sense the Lord. She felt limited and perhaps the differences in location, conversation and restrictions, she didn’t feel completely free to express herself. She only hopes that she represented the Lord well, lol!
The second testimony- was similar. She shared that for the last five months she went from being a high performer until the Lord took it all away! Out of work in New York City! From being sought after by everyone to everyone saying “no”. So, she increased her prayers and church attendance, but wondered where He was. She realizes He was always listening, but very quietly. Even in her desperation! So, she decided to increase her trust in Him even during the low of Lows. Then suddenly out of the blue, an email showed up from a place she hadn’t even applied to! It turns out to have been the perfect job for her in the Lord‘s perfect timing! He had to get it straight into her head that it wasn’t about her, it was about Him and His plan for mankind! Being able to live and be where we are is always about Him! If we demand our way and become self-reliant, it’s not going to turn out right! It turned out better than anything she could have imagined! Amen! Trust God! Just wait for the Father, He knows exactly what’s best for you When you give Him complete control, He will do everything “just right“!
Next Testimony- Baptism of the Holy Spirit! He received a pop-up video entitled “The Time is Now”! from David Diga Hernandez saying “just give me 20 minutes”. So, he clicked on it. Then while he’s still listening with his earbuds in place, he decides to hop on his moped and while he’s cruising, he decides to try it! Well, it started happening! There was an interesting sensation in his mouth and tongue as the wind was blowing through and around him! And so, it happened! Praise the Lord he received the baptism of the Holy Spirit! Hallelujah! He also shared that while visiting his mom, the energy he felt as the presence of God seemed to go missing, kind of like the above testimonies. And of course, the first thing we think is “did I do something wrong!? Is there something I need to renounce?!” So, things are a little dry right now it’s looking to get things ignited again! Praise God He’s always there whether we feel him or not. It’s not on His side, it’s on our side lol!
Fourth testimony- she is having more dreams and this time there were two individuals in her dream that in the past had wronged her. It would appear to her that the enemy is trying to make her heart bitter towards them. So, she is deciding to love and forgive them in her own way because they are still a child of God! And maybe those dreams were actually from God for purpose of releasing bitterness? Also – another thing this week was the number 22, 22. Which led her to Isaiah 22:22. This has to do with God opening and closing doors as He replaces people in different positions. Then, working as an assistant chief, at work the chief she re-located here to support announces he is going to resign at the end of this month! This means she will be chief! Promotion comes from the Lord! Hallelujah! Also, she was able to witness to a pest control worker. They would both like us to lift his cousin for healing and salvation. His name is Shane.
We discussed how our emotions indicate whether we are in or out of the Fruit of the Holy Spirit. If out, then we need God‘s perspective for our situation and He will transform and lead us back in His Holy flow. Then someone read from Ephesians 6:10 and we enjoyed putting on and listening to the full armor of God!
Our new member shared her testimony. She was a surgeon from another country and came here seven years ago. The Lord has saved her life many times throughout her life! Even from too much pride. She followed the peace she felt through the Holy Spirit while at the ocean with her husband and also through the Holy Spirit dreams. It had been shown her of the terrible destruction coming to her home country! And now, after all the death and destruction, she wonders why she was spared and is working through that. She is writing a book about all of it! She is no longer religious but has the real Jesus! She saw Him in His Glory! He pulled her out of a very dark place when she called upon His Name! She is no longer under the crib but under The King because He calls her His daughter! Amen! Wow, praise God! We are looking forward to reading her book!
In closing prayer, we lifted Shane up to the Lord for salvation, we praise God for the miracle testimonies today! We praised God that we can feel the anointing and fiery presence of the Lord! That we would be the Light in this dark world! That He would give us His Love for people. We lifted up Aaron, the resigning chief, that he would be filled with the Lord‘s presence. For moms that are coming to visit and will walk in peace and love. For those group members that couldn’t be with us today. For helping us out of our ruts. We thanked Him for His power to overcome the arrows of the evil one. For the Lord’s perspective that gives us power to change toward Holiness. For family, friends, colleagues and enemies. For answered prayers, protection, and to follow the Lord‘s will with all our hearts! We thanked Him for the privilege of coming together in Holy Unity, it’s the best place to be! In Truth in Love and Holiness and in Jesus Name, amen!
Blessings!
